It's been quite a fun summer at work, but working endless hours at the student home is not my favourite way to while away a weekend. At least I get to read a lot. And because I was immeasurably stupid, I get to edit a master's thesis for a friend of a friend; The thesis writer is the worst Norwegian speller I have ever encountered.

The Fascinating World of Retail
Dec. 27th, 2008 03:13 pmI've turned into one of those bothersome clercks that harass you when you enter, and yell at you to ask about the fit when you're trying something on. The joys of working in retail.
I haven't finished the Naipaul book i started weeks ago and haven't braved a look at the required reading for my courses. I have spent hours with Fallout and Prince of Persia. And got Devil May Cry 4 today, for next to nothing. Writing on my iPod turned out to be surprisingly easy. Largely due to my scary familiarity with the qwerty-keyboard, I think. Iphone next <3.

It Takes the Brains, the Skills
Nov. 20th, 2008 07:08 pmI'm still reading Nygårdshaug, and I'm beginning to suspect Afrodites Basseng is a mix of his favourite utopia, and classic postmodern this will happen if we continue. Revision isn't getting me anywhere.
