Sisterly Experiences?
Mar. 3rd, 2007 11:52 pmRight, things've been done, since I last posted. Spent today downtown, with Krisse and, eventually, the notorious Benjamin.
Outings with Kristine is always fun, we're very much alike in many ways, and yet profoundly different. We've grown up together, and she is the closest thing I will ever get to a sister - in some ways better than any biological could be; you can't choose your biological siblings, but the ones you end up making are of a different matter. I couldn't ask for a better partner in crime. And you've found yourself a delightful toy, darling. Goodness, what you haven't yet in time you make up for with humour and good dynamics. (The hair is, by the by, peculiar.) - And for clarity's fragile sake, the post "partner in crime" sentences are of you and Benjamin.
I have no self-control, and I've no real plans of acquiring any. Aesthetic shopping is far too fun to be spoiled by such a silly thing. And why on earth do I bother with the regular chain stores when "Paléet" excists? Stunning pieces of clothing, shoes, bags, jewelery, make-up, available at a not insubstantial sum.
Family dinner, too. We managed to have a few new discussions today, a feat considering the crowd. I'm very proud of us, however much our dinner-parties resemble absurd theatre.
Otherwise, I've been terribly giddy all day, and am of no mind to do nasty homework.
Philological, or related fascinations: "Perhaps" is a remarkably sexy word, and question marks surprisingly pretty. Condescension has everything one could possibly look for in a word. And I think I unconciously devide people into two groups: the ones that know how to use a semicolon, and the ones that don't.

Setning a; setning b. Semikolon må for all del ikke forveksles med kolon.
