I have finished "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows", and will most likely be sleep-depraved tomorrow - I was stupid enough to waste some four hours I could have spent reading earlier in the day. I could have been sleeping rather than typing now. It's weird, having finished a series that has followed me for so long. In a way, it is the end of an Era.
Though I do not particularly care for the Indian Jones-styled plot (any more than I care for the monstrous insect zooming around in here, intent on keeping me awake), the trio has grown up, she killed a few of her darlings, leaving it a more or less worthy end (note that I will not call it dignified, Albus Severus is just not). Things were resolved, albeit a bit tackily. Snape is now more than ever fanbrat fodder; I can just imagine the Lily/Snape shippers jubliating, good grief.
I grew up reading Rowling, Feist, Lewis, Tolkien and Dahl, and as I think of what university I wish to apply to, I feel that that period of my life is slowly coming to an end. If it has not already ended. My brain is not quite as sharo as it should be these days.
