Missive From Beyond the Wall

niriniaHome for a brief few hours to do laundry and scrape off a layer of mud; I'm half-caught up on my flist. But I don't think I'll get through it all. I really have to answer e-mails, and take a long shower. I'm marinated in mud and my hair feels like wire.
I still have a bump in the back of my head from "fencing". I found a long roll of some sort, and it's only natural that I wave it around. Everything's a sword, right? My brother figured if we broke it in two, we could fence. He looks worse than I do, though he beat me at Scrabble. So we're even. We had the entire family fencing after dinner. Mother closer her eyes and wacked people indiscriminately.
