All Tomorrow's Parties
Feb. 10th, 2010 05:10 pmTotally swamped in reading (entirely my fault, have been incredibly lazy), and not keeping up with my flist. Sorry, guys, I'll be back in a few days!
The winter is still here, clinging to the trees and the ground. And we're all pretty sick of it, I think. I've at least had enough of freezing fingers. We're reading Robinson Crusoe for the Postcolonialism class. Why did I ever love it as a 10-year-old? Perhaps I read a children's version, it is long and tedious. Good example of imperalism at work, interesting in terms of literary history, but not particularly fun to read. 98 pages to go, and I'm going to revel in a House episode. But first I'll be defiant and find some nail varnish to put on. So there.
