Random Incoherence Makes a Post
Jul. 7th, 2008 05:42 pmI've been cleaning up more piss the past two weeks than I care to think I've ever been exposed to, even when I worked with it. Anton [dog] is now ten and a half weeks old, and a menace when he decides my jeans is the best toy in the world. And, you know SI is vastly underrated, particularly when inflicted by puppy-teeth.
Going closet-rummaging is also underrated. I found a pair of grey jeans I'd compeltely forgotten. Though the cleaning up was awful, more so because I got up early.
I'm currently trying to decide on what films to get on DVD. I have gingerbread tea, too much time, b00redom, and Vuze. Control, I'm Not There. What else, what else? Darlings, recommend good movies. I want arty, intriguing, provoking. I don't want mindless action, unless it is mindboggingly well done. I want sweet, dramatic.
There was established a, somewhat fragile, truce between me and the ending of Assassin's Creed last night. I got the urge to kill someone, and ended up starting a new game and replaying the entire thing. While the final battle is not as satisfying as a down-right, beautiful assassination, it does the trick. (Because I use nothing but Counter and the short sword; the slow-motion moves make me weak at the knees.) The ending and I have finally come to terms, frankly just because I will eventually get my hands on AC 2 and 3.
Reading moves along slowly. The next project is DeLillo, and the first volume of Duun's Juvikingane
Leggins Are For Losers
And I'm on a Bauhaus kick.
