Mrs Lovett's Meat-Pies
Mar. 4th, 2008 09:44 pmMy reading of Jane Eyre ( Charlotte Brontë), goes slowly. I have been busy with school, and *sheepish grin*, becoming the Arch-Mage of the Arcane University in Oblivion and I am close to becoming the leader of the Thieves Guild, as well. Yes, I have been most productive.
But, to the point, Jane Eyre is not nearly as bad as I had feared. I can see why people love it so much. There was a scene earlier I read three consecutive times, it was so lovely. She is a lighter, more fast-pased and easily accessible Austen. Though her language does not flourish particularly, and is not all that intriguing, the story is well-crafted and the characters fun.
Sweeney Todd <3!
