Saturday was brilliantly entertaining. Though I fear the pictures that might surface (dancing never looks good on film) [livejournal.com profile] ladyinterlunium is even prettier in person, and [livejournal.com profile] leskedrikk was great fun to encounter again. I was compared, by a random lady with fun hair, to Audrey in Twin Peaks. As I've said before, red lipstick does peculiar things to people. Perhaps I should start keeping a list of names people have compared me to?

Before Gotham, Kristine ([livejournal.com profile] kriwik) and I attempted to make gingerbread men, and failed (failed so laughably I have to italicise it). There is improvement, though, last year we made gingerbread soup, this year the dough just tasted like flour (or was it grass?) and the men came out of the oven either as pieces of coal or just pieces. We made mulled wine with wine bad enough to sully even that, and had to throw it out. There are pictures, in which we make a mess of the kitchen and fail.

I finished buying presents earlier. No, I did not, I am still missing Kristine's. And fed my favourite obsession with a pair of boots. And a borderline obesession with a palette of four eyeshadows. Tomorrow, it is tea and gift-wrapping <3. And reading! And Baldur's Gate ("You, you are as smart as Boo sometimes." "Butt-kicking, for goodness!")

P.S. I wrote a half-something just now, perhaps the Chakrastone is working? Ü
