When you are not hiking, walking your dog (which, unless you have a particularly ferocious creature, can be done perfectly in heels), jogging, exercising or otherwise doing something physically demanding, why would you wear the things? They're clumpy, huge, ugly things, and absolutely unrefined. They lack everything. If you sit laughing at me, claiming that the sole purpose of shoes is walking comfortably, I fart in your general direction. Invest in quality shoes, and you will not only walk comfortably, but in style.

Had a wonderful extended weekend (Saturday to Tuesday, today) with Kristine and her family at their mountain cottage - thank you for inviting me along, Darling! -, we managed to do an incredible amount of nothing, and were occasionally productive. I hope we managed to scare Thomas adequately again, or that we came close to leaving an impression like the last.

We did nothing, laughed our heads off, bathed naked in a neighbour's outside tub - what we call "badestamp", in Norwegian, and I have no good English translation for - with them grinning at us from inside, were taken nastily revealing pictures of, it was so much fun.

My brain isn't currently functioning, I am exhausted and smelly. Coffee, a film, a shower and bed. <3.
