It's highly lamentable that I can't seem to find a coat like my old one - the obsecenly "oh, I'm so goth" affair, full-length and warm, and with the most wonderfully deep hood, the kind you can get nazguly lost in - but I now have an ok substitute. Not nearly as long and flashily elegant, but alot more "chique" (see what's become of my vocabulary?) and almost - horrendous, I know - fashionable. And we saw a beautiful red purse, sadly rather pricy and therefore unattainable.

Dad informed me earlier that we're getting a new computer of some sort, and asked me what I'd like. Portable or stationary? Macbook Pro (a simple macbook, though absolutely stunning, is out of the question as it can't run my games) or a 24" iMac? I can connect the macbook to the tv and get 32" of HD with surround - but what's the use when I, eventually, get my hands on a PS3? - and with an iMac I get a great graphic/video card and lovely big screen. We'll get an intel, and so I can run bootcamp and play NWN2 and Oblivion. There's no way I'll not waste a year's worth of time playing.

Tartt's second book "The Little Friend" is supposedly quite good, but I hadn't worked up the courage to read it until earlier this morning. (Burgess is discarded for now, I think. He's fun, but a bit too intricate and plotless.) It's well written this far, a mere 25 pages, and seems intriguing enough.

Yargh. Oblivion and NWN 2 <3.

And I'm looking forward to Friday and Krisses party. (Gift purchased, if you happen to read this, Krisse *g*)
