On Outsiders
Oct. 25th, 2006 03:50 pm"What is an outsider? According to ”Cambridge International Dictionary of English” (my emphasis): “An outsider is a person who is not involved with a particular group of people or organization or who does not live in a particular place; - is also a person who is not liked or accepted as a member of a particular group, organization or society and feels different form those people who are accepted as members.” Outsider is, in each of the following works, presented differently. What an outsider is varies – as most matters of opinion and contemplation do - though not as much, as the feelings of the narrator and/or author towards one." - Opening a paper by quoting a Cambridge dictionary, can it get much more foolproof? Or arrogant? [It is, by the way a first draft: you're hereby invited to pick it apart.]
I need a new supply of Disney-movies. Not having Robin Hood, Beauty and the Beast, Lion King and all the other classics is just sad.
Oh, and I encountered Vigdis, again. She wanted to know whether or not I was mad at her yesterday, and claimed she's right. Though she does have something of a point, I say a resounding "pffft" in reply.
SFU progress: 2nd epsiode of season 2.
