Well, back to school it is. Seems generally crappy, no news there. I, of course, ended up with a new English teacher (despite all my complaints, I rather enjoyed Vigdis' classes). PE, English and History, can you imagine a weirder combination? No academic was ever athletic, there is no such thing. I refuse to believe it. Either, she sucks in English and History and is a decent PE teacher, it's the other way around or she's just plain average in all three. Why me? My psychology teacher, on the other hand, seems a bundle of fun. I encountered her in class last year, when the rest of the class was off skiing in Trysil. She's against tests, and won't be giving us any written ones, there will possibly be some oral presentations, but that I'll just have to survive. I've the notorious Bennis in geography. The guy throws students's gums for them, and cleans the classroom regularly. And ranted to me about the "joys of becoming a father, Alex. It'll change you, you know, just wait and see".

Fantastic list of various attractions, stolen from Line (Links, line-breaks and paragraphs are all I remember of html. Sad stuff.) Even niftier list.

Gary is a complete idiot. I feel immensely sorry for Jannicke (or is it Janice, these days?). Imagine a stick figure, clad in imitated leather: with Oakley-wannabe sunglasses; a poorly executed undercut; bad-looking, black wannabe-Martens boots; one brow covering the expanse of two, with something struggling to be a gap in-between, and you have Gary. He not only looks like a bad horror-fic, he walks like one. He does these incredibly tacky twirls, they're just indescribably cheesey and does nothing for the already-pathetic image. He insults people on a regular basis, does not get sarcasm and is a jerk. The evening ended with the lovers walking me home, and me spending some time being quite obnoxious to Gary - for the sheer heck of it.

I'm trying spinning again tomorrow (yes, exercise). Nothing good's sure to come of it, but it'll be fun to give it a try.

Mood: apathetic. "My life is spiraling down." Oh yeah.
