Feb. 23rd, 2006 09:01 pmOne school-free week, winter vacation, winter break, whatever you'd like to call it. A week of utter zombie-ness. Sleep, read, eat, move, play NWN/kill people, see a ton of bad movies, and do nothing at all. And don't I just love it?
Today was spent, rather un-zombie-like, downtown with Krisse. Being very, very girlish. My feet are killing me, but 'twas fun. I ended up with two face masks, one now spent during a long, relaxing (and ever-girslish,) bath.
I had another go at Gaiman's "Neverwhere", it's hopeless. 200-odd pages into a 400-odd pages book, there's no spark of interest kindled. The characters are boring, the plot likewise, and the writing unimpressive. I'll have a longer rant about it when I'm not as much of a zombie, simply put: I won't be supporting Mr. Gaiman anymore other than for "The Sandman" purposes.
Aaand, I've finished the notorious "Celebrian". Worship me. I will, however, not be able to see anything lavender without braking into fits of alternate giggling and discust.
