Scotland conquered
Oct. 17th, 2005 07:30 pmWe got through the presentation more or less in one piece, I'm told however, that it doesn't seem very likely that our grade'll to the same thing. Vigdis (english teacher) was supposedly looking quite displeased through the whole affair, which is not good, not good at all. We made her laugh, that's gotta count for something? And we're by far the best english-speakers - not that there's a lot of heirs to that throne -, and erm, we didn't include anything more recent than scotland becoming part of britain, and on top of it we had to improvise five minutes before we were supposed to stand before the class and speak what on earth we were going to tell them of the more typical scottish things, such as haggis, bagpipes, tartans and highland games.
Oh well, I'll say as Vigdis did, it'll be interesting.
On a more positive note: no homework, except for some tiny maths things that'll take me ten minutes to do.
