I'm thinking of taking up French. It is completely silly to be half-versed in French, particularly when fluency isn't that far off: I'm familiar with the verb tenses, I just need to get re-acquaintanted. Then I'll have to cram my head full of words. It's within reach, why not? Even conversational French would be an asset. And, with at least tolerable French, Russian would, likely, be easier to piece together.

Procrastinators unite, tomorrow, right?

Aww, me too :( I can understand it and read it and make some sentences, but not really express anything anymore... I really want to get it back but I think it'll take a lot of time.

That's the depressing part, it will likely take a lot of time. But what if we just insinuate words into our days? Three words for breakfast, repeat passé composé for dinner and piece together a sentence before bed.

Haha we should do that! Maybe make a schedule, track our progress... It would still take a long time but not much effort, or at least it would be nice to do and stay interesting, without cramming word lists. Maybe a French book or movie now and then, it would be good :)

Go for it! I have the same problem with German - and I always say I want to take it up agai but never do.

I think I just might. Though I have said things like this before. Haven't we all?

do it! then we can have a French/Croatian study group x)

Oh, yeah, that's such a great idea (/irony). Study groups with different subjects rarely work, and the two of us would never get any studying done, ever. But we can always use 'study group' as a covert name for gaming and tea?
