niriniaHm, let's see, what's been going on lately? I finished "About a Boy" during the holidays, it was really quite enjoyable. Back to school Tuesday, didn't play truant in PE on Wedensday (couldn't, as a matter of fact), sat through a whole lot of boring classes, and rather enjoyed myself at Camilla's Tuesday after school - she has the most gorgeous cat. Essays and tests were returned, withe the following results: Norwegian 4/5, French 4+, English 6, and maths 5/4. I'm overall quite pleased.
I feel like such a wimp, I haven't dared looking at my essay beyond Vigdis' comment yet. So, here goes nothing, the English-essay of doom.
And, as it turns out, it's not so bad at all: a couple of spelling mistakes, and she at times disagree with my choice of words, but that's bascily it. Her comment on Line's made a few things clear, most of her red underlinings of my words and/or sentences are simply suggestions as to what I should and should not include. "I have read it. I agree with you! As always you shoose a difficult task, but you manage to control yourself, and you succeed." The task I chose, I thought, was the easiest one of the lot, but if she thinks it difficult, all the better for me.
Week-end, oh jolly week-end! Saturday Ingis is coming to town, and she's stopping by for lunch. Sunday I'm spending with Krisse - I might've promised to beat her at Zuma. And I'm ending it with either going to Inger's concert, or Narnia.
I need to sit down and write again, it's been far too long; my vocabulary has been left to rot - in good company of my imagination. "Write aout being different", what a marvelous task it would've been. And what a beautiful thing to twist into a short-story ending with suicide and melodrama.
