The Glory of a New Year

New year, new people, new stuff and new resolutions. Once a year all the world resolve to loose weight, get in shape, get better grades, work harder, be more polite and quit smoking. If you are really daring, you might even promise yourself to quit drinking. Thus, the gyms of the world are crowded to over-flowing with doughnutty people in tricots and tracksuits, bought so recently they still reek of plastic.

But new year resolutions are interesting. Because there is a new year, we team up and promise ourselves the most idiotic things we know we will never adhere to for more than, at absolute worst, a month.

And, in that spirit, I have decided I shall try to make my hand-writing a tad more legible, and work to make sure I get the 6's I should have. And I shall try to read my SK homework, not that it will ever happen.

My new years resolution is to become a better person. Whatever that means.

Impressive, that. I gave up the grand ones years ago, on grounds of not enjoying the miserable failing.
