Bergen was fun. People seem to not get the fact that we did it purely to see the city, and have fun. "Why on earth would you go there?" It is simple, really, to have fun, and to do something entirely insane. For it was insane, there is no doubt about that. But it was so very, very memorable. Even though we didn't buy much other than coffee and stockings (to be fair, Kristine bought a knit cap and pair of shoes, too), it was brilliant. 16 hours on a train was perhaps a bit over the top, and I did get rather sick of the middle-aged idiots drinking in front of us, but it was worth it.
