Have had a supremely uninteresting weekend. The final wisdom tooth was torn out on Thursday, Friday I spent watching Dexter season three and eating painkillers. Yesterday I went with my parents to close up the cottage for the winter, and to marvel at autumn. Today I made muffins, read three and a half pages of Jonson's Volpone and finally saw Ingebjørg again.

Sharper than languid summer, less washed out than winter's pastels. Coats, gloves, scarves. Wind throwing leaves around in circles. Nor does it hurt that I can perch on a bench to watch beautiful men draw their coats tighter against the wind, hair ruffled, hurrying past. Autumn is dramatic, with strong winds, crashing waves and storms. It means great plays, new books, the booker prize and colours. God, autumn makes me romantic.

Now I have an urge to see the Lord of the Rings trilogy again. I suspect it dissipates when I get through the first Extended Edition.

I didn't think it would amount to much, but finally gave in and bought season one a while ago. It really is incredibly interesting. And, god, the whole Miguel story-arc was brilliant.

I once got through the first and second extended editions by myself while stoned, and even then I couldn't make it through the third. Watching the edited versions is soooo much easier haha!

Haha, stoned, really? Perhaps that's the way to get through them all. Will definitely be watching the edited version. And now the cinema's doing a marathon screening of all three.

vi så den siste filmen for ikke s¨lenge siden =) måtte kjempe en hard kamp med den balinesiske brente dvd'en først, men så ordna det seg til slutt. leser den også, for øyeblikket. Frodo har akkurat blitt tatt til fange etter å ha blitt stukket ned av Shelob

Det er noe eget med suspekte brente dvder. Om nom! Å, den er så koselig å lese igjen. Hvor langt er du nå? Jeg bladde litt i the appendices også, det er nesten leselig – ikke på langt nær så ille som Silmarilion.
