Viva la Random!

Reading up on graduate school in England, it turns out they have this hellish system of honours. And to get in at Oxford I need an upper second-class degree for English Literature before 1900, and a first class degree for 1900-current. And these honours are not only determined by your grades, but by the quality/ranking of the university you have previously attended. In addition I need three references, warranting my suitability for academic pursuits. Bugger. I need straight A-s, more or less. Haha!

I've also been reading literature, but don't really have the energy to write about it. I've procrastinated Aristotle long enough. I'm skipping a seminar session tomorrow, to go shopping with Kristine. It's been so long, I'm all giddy. My wallet whimpers.

Oh, yes. I jumped earlier, with a whine-glass in my hand. And the laptop in my lap. It smells of an expensive Chablis; so does my clothes and the couch. I've also discovered gewurztraminer wines. They're not what I usually drink, but are divine with spicy food. Norway would be so sad without globalisation, we would still eat traditional food. Blah, potatoes.
