I've been leafing through, and reading passages here and there, in Jamison's books on Manic-Depressive Illness. And it is utterly captivating. I just spent forty or fifty minutes completely lost in her description of the manic periods are bizarrely fascinating. And although this will sound equally bizarre, this illness fascinates me endlessly.
